Troy University is proud to announce students who have been named to the Chancellor's List for the summer semester and Term 5 of the 2016/2017 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who earn a grade point average of 4.0 qualify for the Chancellor's List. The summer semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 5 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a spring 2017 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,957 students receiving the same honor.
More than 400 Buffalo State students presented their own research or creative work at the annual Student Research and Creativity Conference held on campus in April 2017. Students from many academic disciplines including art, business, education, science, and technology explained their work using posters or presentations. Students used gallery and performance space to demonstrate work in the performing and visual arts.
Fifty-three Ithaca College students travelled to the University of Memphis in Tennessee to present their research at the 2017 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). Students from colleges and universities across the country presented at the annual conference, which took place April 6-8. The presentations mostly comprised research projects completed during students' coursework, including independent studies, senior theses and lab work.
Emporia State University is pleased to announce that over $3.5 million in scholarship funds are helping more than 1,700 students from Kansas, 23 other states and 32 foreign countries realize their educational dreams during the 2016-17 academic year.

Students received awards at The University of Findlay's Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity on April 2. The annual event provides undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and the community. More than 200 students received awards.
In an internship, URI students have the opportunity to apply theory to practice in the field, and then return to the classroom ready to apply practice to theory. URI's experiential learning coordinators partner with faculty to design internships with structured learning outcomes that will provide students with a competitive advantage when they graduate.
